Roots of Wonder was born from the meeting of two different paths, united by the same passion for hospitality:
those of Alessandro Obino and Massimiliano Gabriele.

Since 2018, they have been leading Best Vasto together— a company that has grown year after year to become a point of reference for tourist hospitality in Vasto. In just a few years, they have opened five restaurants and built a network of accommodations capable of hosting even large groups, always guided by the same philosophy: offering quality, added services, and genuine attention to guests.

Alessandro’s experience as a traveler—gained over decades of work around the world—has blended with Massimiliano’s entrepreneurial vision and energy. From this union came the idea to promote Abruzzo and the southern Adriatic in a new way: not through standardized travel packages, but through journeys that tell the stories of people, traditions, and authentic places.

Roots of Wonder is made up of real people: entrepreneurs who have never stopped investing in and believing in the potential of the region, and professionals who see tourism as a true vocation to be lived 365 days a year, with passion and a deep sense of responsibility.
